Naomi Weitzel
General Counsel
Naomi joined CDEC in 1989 and during her career has facilitated tens of thousands of exchanges of real and personal property for corporate, institutional and individual taxpayers. She possesses particular expertise in reverse exchanges and forward build to suit exchanges. Prior to joining CDEC, Naomi practiced real estate law with a Chicago firm.
Naomi earned her B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her J.D. from IIT Chicago – Kent College of Law. She is actively involved in the Federation of Exchange Accommodators (FEA), the national trade organization for qualified intermediaries. Naomi serves on the FEA Government Affairs Committee and manages the FEA's Political Action Committee.
