We are pleased to announce that effective December 14, 2018 Wintrust Financial Corporation (NASDAQ: WTFC) has acquired Chicago Deferred Exchange Company, LLC.

Wintrust is a financial holding company with assets of approximately $30 billion. The company operates fifteen community bank subsidiaries located in the greater Chicago and southern Wisconsin area and number of non-bank business units. Wintrust’s Wealth Management group, which includes The Chicago Trust Company, maintains more than $26 billion in assets under management or administration.

Our team will continue to be dedicated to providing Qualified Intermediary services, utilizing the qualified trust arrangement, as well as Exchange Accommodation Titleholder services with the same efficiency and expertise that you have come to expect. Going forward, some trust assets may be held at Wintrust’s subsidiary banks. We are thrilled to be able to expand our investment options to include Wintrust products and services and look forward to working together in 2019 and beyond.
